Porta Burgi
bg

12th century Adjacent to the town hall stands the ancient Porta Burgi, which bears the coat of arms of the Publicola princes of Santacroce and through which one enters the evocative setting of the medieval village (Rocca). Walking along via Casventino, which follows the ancient stretch of the Via Consolare Flaminia, the characteristic glimpses, made of arches and narrow alleys strike the eye, where the light enjoys abruptly interrupting the shadows of the ancient houses.
