XI century
On the left of Piazza Garibaldi the imposing complex of the ex Convent of St.Maria Maddalena, sec. XI, dedicated to the nuns of the Benedictine order. The structure, completely restored by the Municipality of San Gemini, houses private homes, the municipal library and the historical archive. Inside, in the various rooms, remains of frescoes from the 15th century.
